A proud graduate of Walter Johnson High School in 1971, Danny went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Maryland. He pursued a career as an Oldies DJ at radio stations in Bethany Beach, DE, and Venice, FL, and showcased his entertaining skills as a TV weatherman in Salisbury, MD. A devoted sports enthusiast, Danny passionately supported the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Boston Celtics. He also made a significant impact on young athletes by coaching championship basketball teams in Maryland.
Danny’s love for the beach was evident as he worked as a lifeguard and enjoyed listening to Oldies music, particularly The Beach Boys. A spiritual soul, he cherished his connection with God and the beauty of nature. In later years, he realized his dream of living in the Pittsburgh area. Known for his kindness, caring nature, and excellent sense of humor, Danny was a beloved son, brother, and best friend to “The Boys,” as well as a cherished friend to all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
