With extensive experience in biotechnology R&D, I am particularly sensitive to shifts in this rapidly evolving sector. Slowing market growth, pressure to cut R&D costs, the emergence of substantially equivalent products, and the emergence of disruptive start-ups are all combining to transform the industry. As a leader, I build relationships in order to provide key stakeholders with information about existing and emerging technologies, as well as resources to help with product development and launch efforts. 
My career is built on my dedication to leadership, growth strategies, and team building. I am currently the R&D director for Angel Medical Systems, a technology company that manufactures an implantable device that alerts patients of impending cardiac events. In my high-profile role, I work with key executives to develop strategic plans that drive innovation and spark creativity in medical technologies. I scaled the company’s manufacturing from zero to a validated, sterile process in less than a year, despite seemingly insurmountable challenges. I also expanded the R&D organization’s capabilities, transforming it from a single resource to a cohesive team while maintaining compliance. Previously, I was the director of clinical and data integrity, where I oversaw a pre-market application clinical trial involving over 1000 patients from North America, South America, and Europe. Because of my diverse experience, I am able to view market problems holistically and anticipate and craft solutions that meet market needs.
